Do you have a membership program?
We have a simple membership program. There are no additional costs for membership. Once you have purchased a Classic/Membership package you are automatically enrolled. You can use your membership package for yourself or as a gift for someone special. When you run out of massages in your membership package simply ask us to place more on your account. We will be glad to add on four or more with your credit card number that is on file ! All Done! Membership should always be this easy!
You do not lose them until you use them! No monthly commitments, come in when you feel you need a massage!
You are not penalized if you do not renew!
You are not asked to pay a cancellation fee to step out of your membership!
Will I get a FULL 60 minute or 90 minute session?
Yes, you will get a FULL 60 minutes or 90 minutes with your therapist. We believe that you deserve to have someone actually working on your body for the full amount of time you are paying for. We book extra time between clients to allow time for consultation, undressing and dressing!
Can I request to be in a certain room?
We love that our clients have favorite rooms but we cannot guarantee that you can be in a certain massage room. Our massage equipment is based on the height of the massage therapist and certain rooms have been designed that way. To protect our therapists we must make sure they are using proper massage tables and stools- this is for their safety as well as your own. Also we try to maximize our bookings so we can see as many clients as possible, this means that your favorite room might already be booked.
Can I purchase a gift certificate over the phone?
Due to the high number of requests we cannot take gift certificate orders over the phone and mail them out. We suggest you use the great gift certificate purchasing options on our website or in our actual location.
Can I get a different service than what is on my gift certificate?
Yes. All of our gift certificates have a value attached to them. So if you receive a gift of a 60 minute Deep Tissue massage but you would rather get a Pedicure you can do that. Just know that if the service you want is priced higher then you need to pay the difference. If the price is lower you will have a credit at DeStress good for any product or service.
Do you offer refunds on your gift certificates?
No. You may use the certificate for anything in the spa- products or services. Unfortunately , no exceptions to this .
What are your hours?
Our hours vary depending on the service practitioner's schedule. We do have a booking specialist available between the hours of 10:00am and 6:00pm to help with booking Monday- Friday and 9:00am-2:00pm on Saturdays. Our website is always taking appointments.
Why do I need a credit card to reserve my appointment?
Due to the individualized nature of services we offer, our service providers prepare treatment rooms and services in advance for each client. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance prior to your scheduled appointment. We reserve the right to charge for appointments not canceled within this period. We do our best to provide a confirmation call the business day before your scheduled appointment. These calls are a courtesy, and not receiving a call does not excuse an absence by a client. If you are scheduling an appointment for the next day in which there is not a 24 hour gap in between making the appointment and the actual time of service you must call by the end of the day before scheduled time to cancel.
Can I request a male or female practitioner?
Of course! Just know we currently only have two male team members so if you prefer a male therapist you might need to wait.
Must I be completely undressed for massage treatments?
Most massage techniques are traditionally performed with the client unclothed; however, you may decide what amount of clothing you prefer to wear for your own comfort. You will be properly draped at all times to keep you warm and comfortable. Only the area the practitioner is working on will be exposed.
Should I shave before my wax appointment?
I want to use a different person for my service this time. Will this be a problem?
We encourage you to try several of our therapists. We strive for a team approach to better serve you. Just remember that not all therapists are trained in all types of massage! Our front desk team can help guide you to the best therapist for your session.
