Frequently Asked Questions
I have a gift certificate from the radio and it is expired. Can it be used after the expiration date?
We have the pleasure of working with Entercomm Communications and their Hampton Roads/Holiday Perks Half Price Deals promotion from June 2009 till December 31, 2009. We are unable to continue the special at this time so unfortunately we can not extend the gift certificates. For more information you may speak with Ramona Rice at our office 757-873-8968.
What are your hours?
Our Hours vary depending on the service practioner's schedule. We do have a receptionist available to make appointments Monday-Friday from 10:00am-5:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am-2:00pm. DeStress Express is closed on Sundays.
Why do I need a credit card to reserve my appointment?
Due to the individualized nature of services we offer, our service providers prepare treatment rooms and services in advance for each client. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. We reserve the right to charge for appointments not cancelled within this period. We do our best to provide a confirmation call the business day before your scheduled appointment. These calls are a courtesy, and not receiving a call does not excuse an absence by a client.
How will I feel after the massage session ?
Most people feel very relaxed. Some experience freedom from long-term aches and pains developed from tension or repetitive activity. After an initial period of feeling slowed down, people often experience increase energy, heightened awareness, and greater productivity which can last for days.
Must I be completely undressed?
Most massage techniques are traditionally performed with the client unclothed; however, you may decide what amount of clothing you prefer to wear for your own comfort. You will be properly draped at all times to keep you warm and comfortable. Only the area being worked on will be exposed.
My neck, shoulders and low back hurt, can a massage help?
